What is KF94?

"KF" stands for "Korea Filter."

The numbers after "KF" refer to the mask's effectiveness for the wearer breathing in fine dust. For example, "KF80" means that the mask can filter more than 80 percent fine particles the size of an average of 0.6㎛ (micrometers). "KF94" can filter more than 94 percent of particles with the average size of 0.4㎛. The bigger number means a mask has been designed more finely.

The filtration efficiency of KF94 is nearly equivalent to ones of N95 (USA), KN95 (CHINA), and FFP2 (European Nations + UK).

Due to the high filtration efficiency, you may have difficulty breathing while wearing the mask.
